Today's budget is ugh, seven bucks.
Today's budget is ugh, seven bucks. It might not sound that bad but I had to go into the office today so I had to take the subway there and back for $6 total. Meaning I just had $1 to get all of my food for the day and couldn't buy anything else. The trade off for paying to go into the office is I get free snacks. So I got a couple ice cold Diet Cokes at 9am Obviously had a very tight budget for lunch so I had to work some magic. I paid for full price Chipotle seven times last month. Since I use their app to get points and it's the summer of extras, that means that I got an entire bowl for free which obviously I paired with another ice cold crispy diet Coke. I gave the honey Chipotle chicken one last shot since it's a premium prot and I was getting the bowl for free either way. But it's just not my al pastor. I washed down lunch with a couple desserts AKA these two little mini cupcakes. I'm gonna be so real. I honestly ate four of these. I just didn't video them. One thing about me if there is free food in front of me, I am going to overeat escape the office to breathe some not so fresh air Right now for dinner I still had a dollar to spare, but that really can only get you so much in New York City. I ordered this hash brown from my local bodega and it looked exactly like a McDonald's one and I decided to Frankenstein that with a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. Salt, pepper, ketchup. This entire meal came out to a total of $10.82. Only going to cost me $0.82 because I used my $10 Grubhub Amex Gold credit.
