The script — as said out loud
Every obsessed athlete runs on one of four fuel sources. Which one are you? The first is the perfectionist. And this one isn't about wanting to be great. It's about being terrified of being average. Essentially, you're your own biggest critic. And as much as that is exhausting, that's exactly what drives you. The second is ego, which is the need to dominate, to be the best in the room every single time. But here's the dark side. If that image ever cracks, that completely breaks you. The third is. Is trauma. This one is when someone's been hurt and uses that as a weapon. So it's actually the pain that becomes the fuel. And quite honestly, it works, but it is a heavy thing to carry. And the fourth is the Mattia, which is someone willing to sacrifice everything for something bigger than themselves. Willing to be hated, willing to suffer. All for a legacy. Me, personally, I'm a perfectionist. Fear of being average is louder than anything else in my mind. What drives you?
