I fear some of you are blindly loyal to Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton when the rich girls have quietly moved on.
I fear some of you are blindly loyal to Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton when the rich girls have quietly moved on. I'm your favorite intentional bitch on Living Rich and these are the brands disrupting luxury across skincare, makeup, shoes and Ready to wear. For skincare we have raviv, built by Dr. Gregory Baze Brown, who was working on burn victims when he took a Nobel Prize winning molecule, epidermal growth factor, and put it into skin care. The hero product is the moisturizing renewal cream, which is the one that the entire brand was founded on. For makeup we have Chantecaille, founded by Sylvie Chantecaille, a French beauty pioneer that helped build Prescriptive before going independent to build something her own way. The whole brand is centered around botanical formulations that blur the line between skincare and makeup. The Hero is the future skin gel foundation. I wear it every day, but you don't need to take my word for it because it was used as the base on the cast of Euphoria and the crown. For shoes we have NIA's, founded out of London by a former Harper's Bazaar accessories editor who knew exactly what was missing from the market. Their shoes are sculptural with clean lines and they're handmade in the same Italian factory that used to produce exclusively for Ferragamo, best known for their simple but impactful strappy sandals. For Ready to wear we have La Mer from Christophe Lemaire, who ran womenswear at Hermes before pouring everything he had into his own label. It's Hermes level restraint, beautiful fabrics, zero logo and the actual definition of quiet luxury. The hero is the croissant bag, one that you've probably seen on every fashion girl, along with a curved, high waisted trouser.
